Mask 1 ex mkii bug : same sound despite changing p
Avi F![]() | hello, Earlier today I just for the first time (hopefully only time) i noticed that my mask 1ex mkii doesn't change the sound despite changing presets on the sound selection (preset) dial. Preceding this , I had been experimenting with heavier modulation with lfo applied to fx2 delay , and also utilizing the arpeggiator on a dual layer sound. After unplugging the adapter and midi and re plugging, it came back as normal, but this behavior also occurred several minutes later, however this time on a fairly tame by comparison sound. My current conclusion is that the heat may affect the unit because it was in a hot room. Since then it seems to not act up as it were. Anyone else experience something like this? |
KODAMO![]() | Hello, Are you sure you aren't pressing the Part button by accident? |
Avi F![]() | From what I recall, I did press part button at some point during the above. But before I changed sounds I pressed voice button so I was unsure why the sound didn't change. Maybe I don't really understand how to use the part button, as I rarely use it, so far anyway. |
Avi F![]() | Omg hahahaha 😆 🤣 I did press it by accident. Thanks |
Avi F![]() | Sorry, double post |
KODAMO![]() | It confuses many people yes. It just gives control over the sound responding to Part 1 or Part 2 (MIDI Channel 1 or 2). Very useful to control sound during multitimbral performances. If you're using only one part, switching to the other part effectively gives you control over something you don't hear |
Avi F![]() | Aha, very useful to have in a performance situation! Thanks |
