LFO Offset Random depth?
| Dr.Synth | When LFO Offset = Random, it would be very useful to be able to set/restrict the range of the randomness -- a "depth" amount for setting the range of the Offset randomization. An implementation example would be instead of the current off/on for Offset Random, replace with a Random depth parameter 0-127 that controls the Offset range from which the random selects. A value of 0 would equal the current 'off' setting and 127 equals the current 'on' setting. Then a setting of say, 32 would yield only a random offset in the first 1/4 cycle of the wave; set to 64 would yield only a random offset in the first 1/2 cycle etc. Manny |
KODAMO![]() | It seems this could be done in the modulation matrix (RNG => LFO Offset), so the LFO Random mode could be completely removed |
| Dr.Synth | Don’t remove random from the LFO page. We need those precious Mod Matrix slots ! 😉 How about 4 selectable random ranges, quarter, half, three quarter and the current full wave cycle range ? Manny |
