Electronic Wind Instrument sustain/release
Jazz Paladin | Question, I noticed that my midi keyboard plays an extended release after depressing a key, but whenever I cut off playing a note on my midi sax, the release of the note cuts of abruptly from the sustain with no release tail, any idea how to rectify this? |
KODAMO | Can you check if "Expression pedal controls volume" is checked in Global > MIDI ? Your sax is probably sending some message (expression, channel volume or aftertouch) to make the note stop as soon as you stop blowing. You can experiment with MIDI filters (Global > MIDI > Filters) for that |
