No Web Midi in Chrome or Firefox, OS X 14.4.1
mrgkeys | Hello! while previous updates have gone just fine, at least on this OS, none of the current web midi capable browsers will put the Mask 1 into DFU for the ST Micro java program to update. The Red square never turns Green :-( I'm assuming it's the OS, as 14.4.x has had problems with other USB devices being accessed thru hubs at least. Chrome or Firefox both do not work, and did previously with the same setup. I've connected directly to the Mac bypassing the hub that worked fine before. Any way, i.e. a key combo at power up to put the Mask into DFU for the programmer? Is it possible the web code needs to be updated for the OS? |
| mrgkeys | found my answer, just delete the keyboard in audio midi setup and it works fine. Note to self. |
KODAMO | Glad you solved your issue. We did the webapp thing to make it more convenient, but the Mask1 can also be switched into firmware upgrade mode by sending a SysEx to it. We can provide the SysEx file to people who experience issues with WebMIDI |
