mask 1 - triangle waves?
Avi F | 👋 hello, I'm going to play a bit of mask 1 again today, and I realized, I think anyway, are there any triangle waves in there? If not, what are the closest mask numbers that with some sound editing, could approach that shape? I'm currently thinking the half sine combine with a square maybe. |
| Avi F | I've found mask 25 and mask 269, but with 269 I needed to boost volume and lower filter cutoff amount to get a wave sounding closer to a tri. So I combined them. What other wave has anyone tried for this? |
KODAMO | Hi, I think your best luck is with masks just before 31 (sine). These mask have odd harmonics, which is a common property to square and triangle waves. Triangle is basically like a square but with less harmonic content, so filtering with key tracking should help to get close |
