Program Change does not affect Voice Edit mode

When I am in Voice Edit I can send PC messages and the voice actually being played will change, but the Voice Edit screen stays on the voice I had selected when entering Voice Edit. I would think the Program Change should also be reflected in Voice Edit mode, so I could quickly switch between voices while editing, e.g. when working on voices I would later like to combine in a patch.

Your suggestion is perfectly valid when doing sound design and manually sending program changes, but imagine you're playing a sequence and this sequence switches between voices while you're editing, it would be extremely annoying. Maybe an option in Global settings would be appropriate, so you could choose between both behaviors?
