Patch-level amplitude envelope.

sicijk
Hi, is it possible to implement a volume envelope to control all the Voice layers in a Patch? I know I can use the matrix to control it at Voice level, but sometimes I find myself to be in the need of shorter release or whatever. So far my workaround is to copy the envelope from the Voice's operator which has the timing I'm looking for and copy/paste all over. But it is quite time consuming with heavy layers.

It can be done by assigning envelope speed to a CC in the mod matrix. Then in performance mode, see Knobs page to assign a knob to a CC. After it is setup, you can turn the knob while on Performance page, to change envelope speed of all voices that respond to it.

Oh thank you very much!!🧡

Unfortunately I am not able to make it works. I tried with EG speed and also segment speed, but nothing changes.
Then I tried to alter the volume of a modulator to a carrier (simple algorithm where op4 modulates op1).
I set CC16 to op4 volume as destination, but nothing changes. The only moment I hear a change is when I modify Offset parameter. But then, when I move CC16 (knob1) in Performance mode, the sound stays the same.

Also, another weird thing happening is that Patch E3 "Slider Organ" loaded on Performance, do not respond to the Knobs.
It does if I connect an external controller sending CC16 to CC21.

I can confirm that using ext controller works also on envelope speed as you instructed above. But not the panel knobs anymore. Even if I disconnect external controller and reboot the synth. What am I missing here?

Thanks!

SOLVED!

I got what I was doing wrongly: Knobs do not work when in Assign mode. They do work in main Performance page. That's why I was not getting any result. It works just fine!

Thanks !
